BOOK FAIR MISSION AND PURPOSE

Rockbridge Elementary School sponsors two Scholastic book fairs every school year, usually in October and February. Promoting student reading excitement is the primary mission of the book fair, but the proceeds of the fair also fund media center improvements and reading programs. For example:

• New library books
• The Rockbridge Birthday Book Cart
• Technology
• Signage
• Decorative improvements like rugs, furniture and wall murals

Students and parents may visit the campus fair during scheduled hours or they may shop online at the Rockbridge Scholastic Online Book Fair. Both the school and online fair directly benefit the Rockbridge Media Center and the students of Rockbridge.
