Inflatable Baby Race Caps Off 2nd Grade Hispanic Heritage Month Fundraiser!

Our school community came together for a fantastic cause during Hispanic Heritage Month to support our 2nd grade team—and the results were as hilarious as they were impactful!

Throughout the fundraiser, students cast their votes through donations, supporting the country they believed would cross the finish line first. Every contribution went directly toward our 2nd grade programs, with students rallying behind six represented countries and territories:

• El Salvador

• Guatemala

• Honduras

• Mexico

• Puerto Rico

• Venezuela

The Grand Finale

The celebration reached its peak with our main event: a high-stakes race featuring six brave teachers donning full-body inflatable baby suits. Surrounded by cheering students and energetic chants, our teacher-athletes put on an incredible show as they wobbled and sprinted toward the finish line.

When the dust settled, Mexico proved to be unstoppable—winning both the student donation vote and taking 1st place in the race!
